The Raaka Company is based in the USA, but our artisans are based in different parts of the world. Either way, your products will be shipped to you from the USA.

Yes! We do ship internationally. Our shipping rates are USPS First Class international mail rates, and will depend on your shipping location.

Our thread and bead bracelets can be customised with unique colors and patterns. Unfortunately, other products are not customisable at this time.

Our artisans are skilled handicraftsmen whom we have met on our various adventures accross India. We will give an introduction to all our artisans when we introduce you to their work. We want them to get the acknowlegdement and appreciation that they deserve, and we want you to find handicrafts that you may not even know about yet.

Yes! All of our products are handmade from the metalwork jewelry to the rugs.

We only use 14kt gold plated, 14kt gold-filled or sterling silver for our jewelry.

Gold-filled jewelry is made of two or three layers. The middle layer is jewelers’ brass and the top layers are gold alloys (no nickel). The Gold-filled components that we use are 14kt Gold-filled meaning 14/20 gold.

Gold-filled jewelry is also gaining popularity because of how low maintenance it is. It is tarnish resistant and will maintain its shine naturally.
